Every child has the right to access quality public education in their local community. If you live in our local intake area, start your journey to join our vibrant school community today. Follow these key steps:

1. Check your eligibility:  use School Finder to confirm if your address is within our local intake area
2. Read:  other enrolment details for our school
3. Apply online:  complete our online enrolment application

Temporary Residence Program

The Temporary Residents Program (TRP) provides advice and support for the enrolment of temporary residents in NSW government schools. The program accepts enrolment in primary school and high school from Kindergarten to Year 12.

Temporary residents must hold a valid visa and meet the General conditions of enrolment to enrol in a NSW government school.

Kindergarten 2026

We are excited to welcome our Kindergarten 2026 students to Parramatta West Public School. We have a number of events to support children transitioning to school. These include:

• Kindergarten Orientation sessions held in October and November
• Regular parent updates on school readiness
• Guided tour sessions
• Hub Junior school readiness sessions as part of our Community Hubs Program

School contributions

At Parramatta West Public School, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, regardless of whether contributions are made. During the 2026 school year, Parramatta West Public School will not be requesting voluntary financial contributions.
